چکیده
Road traffic simulation is becoming more important as the complexity and multi-modality of grow with evolution novel transportation automotive technologies. There are several ways to mimic dynamics. However, realistic modeling has a clear trade-off between accuracy processing time. Obviously, detailed dynamics sought, calculation needed. The paper offers compromise solution introducing mesoscopic framework applicable on an arbitrary network level. mathematical background provided extension shockwave profile model (SPM), distinguishing three continuous states link. Extension done by means weighted directed graph where dynamic edge weights queue lengths each can handle both signalized unsignalized road links. An opportunity proposed SPM approach analysis jam propagation bottleneck detection. presented simulator validated based synthetic real-world networks using fleet data. simulated length in accurately matches microscopic results.

Formation and Propagation of Local Traffic Jam
Large scale traffic congestion often stems from local traffic jam in single road or intersection. In this paper, macroscopic method was used to explore the formation and propagation of local traffic jam. It is found that (1) the propagation of traffic jam can be seen as the propagation of traffic signal parameters, that is, virtual split and virtual green time; (2) for a road with endogenous fl...
متن کاملHybrid microscopic-mesoscopic traffic simulation
Traffic simulation is an important tool for modelling the operations of dynamic traffic systems and helps analyse the causes and potential solutions of traffic problems such as congestion and traffic safety. Microscopic simulation models provide a detailed representation of the traffic process, which makes them most suitable for evaluation of complicated traffic facilities and Intelligent Trans...
متن کاملUrban Traffic Jam Simulation Based on the Cell Transmission Model
There have been different approaches which have been proposed to understand the mechanism of traffic congestion propagation. In this paper, we use the cell transmission model and apply it to simulate the formation and dissipation of traffic jams at the microscopic level. In particular, our model focuses on jam propagation and dissipation in two-way rectangular grid networks. In the model, the d...

Proteases commit microbicide hite blood cells use proteases to kill their targets, according to new results from Emer Reeves, Hiu Lu, Anthony Segal (University College, London, England), and colleagues. The findings contradict previously accepted notions that reactive oxygen species (ROSs) are the killing agents. ROSs like superoxide are produced by NADPH oxidase activity when white blood cells...
